Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. By registering, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep it updated.

Each person may only maintain one account. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate votes, earn additional rewards, or circumvent a ban is strictly prohibited.

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

• Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to cast votes or create debates
• Manipulate vote counts through fake accounts, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or any other fraudulent means
• Engage in vote trading, vote selling, or any scheme designed to artificially inflate debate metrics
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Attempt to exploit, hack, or reverse-engineer any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

All debates created on the Platform must be sports-related. We reserve the right to remove content that is off-topic or inappropriate.

The following content is prohibited:

• Hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence
• Discriminatory content based on race, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, or disability
• Spam, advertisements, or promotional material
• Content that is sexually explicit, obscene, or otherwise offensive
• Debates that are intentionally misleading or designed solely to farm votes

Each registered user is allowed one vote per debate. Votes are final and cannot be changed once cast.

Any attempt to manipulate voting through multiple accounts, bots, coordinated campaigns, or other fraudulent methods will result in immediate account suspension or permanent ban at our sole discretion.

We employ device fingerprinting, IP analysis, and behavioral monitoring to detect and prevent vote manipulation. Suspicious votes may be removed without notice.

Debate creators may earn cash rewards when their debates reach vote milestones:

• 1,000 verified votes — $1
• 10,000 verified votes — $10
• 50,000 verified votes — $100
• 100,000 verified votes — $1,000

Rewards are non-cumulative. Only the highest milestone tier reached is paid out. The maximum payout per debate is $1,000.

Only verified, legitimate votes count toward milestones. Votes flagged as fraudulent or suspicious will not be counted.

The Platform reserves the right to withhold, delay, or deny payouts if there is reasonable suspicion of vote manipulation, fraud, or violation of these Terms. We may require identity verification before processing any payout.

Reward amounts, milestone thresholds, and program availability are subject to change at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to honor milestones reached before any changes take effect.

You retain ownership of the content you create on the Platform, including debate topics and descriptions. By posting content, you grant Settle The Debate a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

The Settle The Debate name, logo, and all related branding are the property of the Platform and may not be used without prior written permission.

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Settle The Debate and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior.

Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Any pending or unpaid rewards may be forfeited if your account is terminated for cause.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
